Minibox Software Upgrade

Does anyone know how to upgrade your Cox minibox receiver?

In the Cox menu, it's an option to upgrade with a USB, but I cannot find a software upgrade for the minibox on the Cox website.

Do I need to upgrade my receiver?

Why I'm looking for this is because when I switch from my Roku to my Cox minibox, the picture won't show up many times. I have to keep toggling back and forth between sources until my cable tv "shows up."

    How are you accessing the Cox menu on the minibox?

    sounds more like an issue with the tv or the cables used for hook up
