Minibox remote RF3220

I have a wall mounted tv, so the mini box is hidden.  I was told the RF 3220 remote would solve channel changing issues....but I still am having problems unless I point the remote to a very specific location.  Do I need another piece of equipment, like an adapter, or did I possibly pair it incorrectly?  Thanks!

Have you looked into IR extenders? It's possible that this will fit your situation. You can get one at the Solution Store.

That's what I ended up doing this morning.  It is just frustrating that the URC 3220 RF is advertised as being able to "see" through the screen.....and the people at the store not only don't have them, they have no idea what I am talking about.  I would still like to know if there is a way unpair and try to re-pair another way.

  • Hi Mario,

Since line of sight is required between the remote and the mini box during this process, stand in that "very specific location" you mentioned and use the following steps to unpair the URC 3220 RF remote.
    • Hold the Setup button until the LED turns green
    • Press 9, 8, 7
    • If the code is entered successfully, the LED will blink green two times

The remote will be unpaired and ready to accept new programming or pairing.
