Mini Boxes Keep Loosing Channels

Does anyone know why the mini-boxes keep loosing Channels? I have one HD Box and 4 mini-boxes. They have been installed for about a month. At least once a week, 1 of the mini-boxes looses a bunch of channels. It is crazy as of the 4 mini-boxes, it is only 1 randomly that looses channels. Last week it was in living room. Tonight in bedroom. Tech support has shown me how to re-scan channels on the box and this works sometimes but not always. Tonight rescan did not add the missing channels. Does any one have any ideas on what is happening? Thanks, Steve

    Hi SteveInAZ,

    It appears that there was an outage in your area on 10/6. Are you still experiencing trouble with the mini boxes at this time? What error code are you receiving?

    Nichole, Thanks for responding. The mini-box in question worked fine the next morning when I turned it on. This has happened on multiple occasions and I do NOT believe it has anything to do with an outage. If outage related why would 3 of the 4 mini-boxes be fine and only 1 lose channels? So far, it has only been one mini-box at a time. Any other thoughts?

    signal level on that out let could be weak could even be bad hardware/bad box

    It is NOT the same box each time. Box looses channels and then works fine the next day. 3 days later box in another room (different outlet and different box) has same problem. It is a guessing game which one will lose channels next. ?

    What message do you get when the channel isn't working? Is the cable straight from the wall to the mini box or is there a splitter?
