Can I use an Apple TV with a Mini cable box?

They are two different things.The Apple TV streams from your internet connection, the minibox gets it's TV signal directly off the cable. Each connects to an hdmi port of your TV. As long as your TV has at least 2 hdmi inputs, not a problem.
