MacAfee Download/installation error 0

My parents bought a new Dell Laptop that came preloaded with 30 days of MacAfee. I'd like to activate the Cox subscription so they don't have issues in a month when the Dell promotional subscription is up. Do I need to uninstall the existing to insall the Cox one?
