Lost mini-box remote...options?

It's been lost long enough that it's unlikely to be found. What options do we have? I'm wondering if there's a phone app that will control the mini-box? Alternatively, maybe a universal that works with certainty? Paying Cox $20 is my last resort option.

    Hey Revived,

    I am sure you can use a universal remote but we can not guarantee it. Check with the company of the remote to see if they have the code for the Mini Box listed on their end.
