I received this answer from a cox tier 2 tech. Cox is working on a solution to fix tv caller id on contour 2. The timetable for this solution is not known at this time. Looks like me and other people will have to wait untill this problem is finally resolved!

Hi glgallup, I'd be glad to help. Is the caller ID not working solely on the fax machine? Are there any other phones at your location to confirm if the caller ID is displaying?

I just got contour 2 this week and the TV caller ID does not work, also has not been working over the last several month on contour 1. I did go into the settings, notifications and TV caller ID is turned on, but only caller id does not appear on the TV, no privacy controls are activated for our TV. Caller ID does appear on our phones, just not on the TV.
