Keep email address when changing ISP?

I'm thinking of changing ISP from Cox to another ISP. I want to keep my Cox email address though. Is that possible? It would be a big hassle if I can't. We can keep phone numbers so I hope email addresses too. I'm referring to complete email address. Example- myemail@cox.net. Thanks for any help.

    We do not want to see you leave us for service. Unfortunately, once Cox high speed internet service is disconnected, we will will delete your email address, mailbox, all email messages, and the associated content form each Cox email address associated with your account. This will be done within 90 days of disconnection. We hope this answers your question.
