I've had nothing but issues since jumping to docsis 3, About two months ago after dealing with contractors, we finally got a cox employee who ran a new drop. He also installed only 1 amp that I am aware of. From amp to splitter. 1 line goes to modem and 1 to contour. I'm buying a new modem tomorrow to take that out the loop as well. From everything I'm reading I will have issues. Advice anyone?

    SNR & power levels are well within acceptable specs.  Downstream, SNR should be >30dB which it is.  What issues are you having?  Are the problems with a wired connection, WiFi or both?  What modem do you have & what are you purchasing?

    What kinds of issues have you been experiencing with your connectivity since we installed a new drop? If you usually connect to your network wirelessly, a good troubleshooting step is to connect a device directly to your modem/Gateway with an ethernet cord. What other troubleshooting steps have you tried?

    DHCP renewal timeout and T4 timeouts sometimes twice a day are my main problems the Wi-Fi is spotty as well but I'm convinced this net gear cg3000dv2 is not very reliable, from numerous reviews and from my own personal experience(this is my 2nd one, same problems).

    I'm going to install a new arris white sb6141 today paired with a cisco e2500.

    Let us know what the outcome is of using the new modem and router setup. Having the different equipment is the best way to narrow it down.

    I'm very happy to report 24hrs have passed and only 1 error due to a firmware update! No T4/T3's
