IPV4 and IPV6

Hi I have 300MB internet service and thinking of buying new Surfboard Modem SB8200 with two gigabit ports. I would like to know whether I can use both ports but I need to know whether cox supports IPV4 and IPV6 in AZ. Is any cost to use both ports? Thanks

Dual stack is supported on residential connections. Only 1 Ethernet will be active on that device at this time.

Well that stinks, I just bought an SB8200 as well. I was hoping to connect my wireless router to one ethernet port and a direct connection to my office computer using the other port.

For what it's worth even when it's enabled that setup would not work. The purpose of the 2nd port is for LACP which basically allows you to double the Ethernet path bandwidth to a single device on the other end that also supports LACP.
