Internet Speeds

Why are coxs internet speed always far lower than that speed they actually sell you. I'm on the 200 Mbps down and i can barely every get 40. Its ridiculous.  No matter how many times i use their modem reset tool it just never works like it's supposed to.

    Is the 40Mbps over 802.11n WiFi?  If you are using "n" on 2.4GHz, you won't get more than 40 to 50 Mbps.  What are your speeds wired directly to the modem?
