I am in the Omaha area. I currently pay for internet service with a A Speed of 150 MPS. I consistently only get 75 MPS. COx just recently raised my rate $15 a month and I am not even getting what i pay for. I have one of the newest Modems and routers on the market.
Is that 75Mbps over WiFi? Are you using wireless "n"? That is a typical rate for "n", you need wired gigabit or wireless "ac" to get your 150Mbps. What modem & router are you using, even if your router supports ac, if the client only supports n it will drop back to n. Can you test with a gigabit wired connection direct to the modem, that will help isolate the issue.
