internet premier that is under 5mbps. not a reset or other problem.

I HAVE PREMIER INTERNET WHICH ASSURES SPEEDS UP TO 150 MBPS.  UP TO MEANS "WITHING A REASONABLE PROXIMITY" BUT I HAVE BEEN MAXXING OUT AT 10 MBPS.  IT IS SO SLOW...  NEVERTHELESS, SINCE I HAVE ANOTHER WEEK TO TRY IT OUT, IT LOOKS LIKE ITS  GONNA BE CANCELLATION.   THERE IS NOTHING I HAVE NOT TRIED, BUT THE OBVIOUS CONCLUSION IS  SOMETHING IS NOT RIGHT.  ANYBODY KNOW WHY ALL BRAND NEW COPPER AND EQUIPMENT WOULD PROVIDE SUCH A GARBAGE RESPONSE ?  i WILL TRY EVERYTHING YOU CAN SUGGEST PROVIDED ITS NOT BEEN TRIED BEFORE, OR MAYBE A SECOND OR THREE HUNDREDTH  TIME.  UP TO SHOULD BE NEAR 125 MBPS OR ITS TIME TO FILE A LAWSUIT FOR FRAUD, AND I WOULD SAY THAT MIGHT EVEN RISE TO A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT.  BUT I WOULD RATHER USE MY INTERNET THAN GET INTO THE DIRT ABOUT HOW BAD THE SERVICE IS..,.

Perhaps we can take a look at what's going on for you. Can you try signing into http://192.168.100.1 and posting the signal status info and modem logs if available? There might be something there to help us understand what is happening.

    It should be +/- about 25% -

    Which modem?

    Which router?

    Wired or wireless?

Can you bypass the router and go wired?
