Internet connection

Ever since Cox announced their change to go completely digital for their cable service, we have been experiencing outages with our internet.This happens anywhere from 5 to 10 times a day for almost 2 months now. I pay $100 monthly for their tv and Internet and it doesn't work! Why???

    I looked at the modem from here and I see that it's reporting signal problems.  Are there any cable splitters you can try bypassing to see if that helps?
