Intermittent outages to Internet and Cox Phone happening frequently

I've been having intermittent issues for at least the last month.  The issues affect both my internet and my cox phone (two separate modems) so I don't believe that the modem hardware is the issue.  Basically, 3-5 times a day the connection will randomly go down, with the internet modem (SB6121) reporting T3 Ranging errors.  Sometimes it will come and go a few times over the course of 30-45 minutes before finally settling down for a few hours.  I've called a few times and they've said that there's been outages in the area but this seems too frequent (unless the outages haven't been fixed in a way that solves the problem?).

Anyways, I've been a pretty happy customer for 15+ years because the connection is generally reliable but this is getting frustrating.

Modem log from this morning:

Both modem are actually showing signs of noise interference on one of the upstream channels. Are there any splitters you can try bypassing to see if that helps?

No splitters in the setup.  I have a double coax that was originally here that comes into the house.  The techs spliced into that, connecting one of the two to a line that runs behind the wall to the wall "outlet" for the internet modem and the other into the line that runs behind the wall into the phone modem.  They used a connector with two male ends for each of those to extend the line.

You could see if the modem will work better on a different cable outlet. If that doesn't help it may be time to see about getting a tech scheduled to come investigate further.
