Intermittent loss of connection

We have had intermittent loss of signal for a couple of years. We've had techs come out and say the problem is with our modem which we just upgraded again, this time to an SB6183.

Here is the status:

Status

The statuses listed show the connection state of the cable modem. They are used by your service provider to evaluate the operation of the cable modem. Sometimes if we unplug it and plug it back in, it works.  Sometimes it doesn't.  We have had techs out so many times who tell us there is not a problem, but there is a problem.

    I would guess a line problem.  With all those SYNC Timing Synchronization failures and the fact your upstream power on channel 4 is above the DOCSIS 3 standard, I would check all lines from the dmarc to your modem.  Make sure all connections are tight and secure, all cables are free of cracks and bends, and bypass any splitters if possible.  If you still have a problem, you may need to have a tech out to check the drop from the street to the dmarc.  Good luck.

    I had several techs come out and check my line noise, and according to them everything is in line with what it is suppose to be.  I hit my internet speeds fine, but it drops out a few times an hour which makes streaming movies or playing online games very frustrating.

    Hi danieln88,

    I took a look at the modem log using the MAC address and I am also seeing some signal issues to the modem. Are you connected through a splitter or does the modem connect directly to the cable outlet?
