Inconsistent Audio

My cox cable just started to have patchy  audio...we just had it installed about three weeks ago and it wasn't doing it then but now it started and is very annoying.  Anyone out there experience this before and what did you do to fix it?

    Hi Tommyboy,

    Is this occurring on certain or all channels? Is this happening on all TV sets in the home?
