I did take a look at the modem from this end however it appears the modem you're using doesn't have enough capacity for a 150Mbps connection. Ideally you should be using a DOCSIS 3.0 modem that support minimum 8x downstream channels.

One technician that came out said I needed a docsis 3.0 modem. I kindly picked up my modem and pointed at the docsis 3.0 label.

It is a docsis 3.0 and supports well beyond a 150 mbps connection.

  • Hello,

The modem that you currently have is indeed a Docsis 3.0 modem. However, this modem only support 4 download channels. In order to enjoy our higher speed services, you will need to have a Docsis 3.0 modem that supports at lease 8 download channels.

    Thanks,
