I need Netgear C3700 firmware

My current modem firmware is version 1.01.05 and Netgear website states the latest firmware is version 2.02.08 as of this date.  Can I get someone to push the latest firmware on my modem.  The people I spoke on the phone appear to not know how.

OK the new firmware was pushed to my modem.  When I called cox and spoke to a tier 2 guy he said there was no firmware available and that I should get firmware from Netgear.  I knew then he was **.  He seemed like he was repeating what I had just told him rather than know it himself.  Twelve hours after I hung up the modem was updated.  The Uplink light is now constantly lit.

What's an acceptable upstream power level?  One of my channel goes as low as 36 dBmV.

  • Hello,

Optimal transmit ranges are from 35-52dB.  We find that modems will actually slide slightly outside this range as well, but not display any sign of issues.
