I don't understand how this is even a real a company, complete scumbags with gouged prices and garbage service.
When I made my account, the sales representative flat out lied to me about what I would be charged.
Second, literally all I want is ESPN and somewhat functional internet, and I was told the cheapest way to get that is $140?? What a joke. Two years ago I got the advanced package for $100 a month, but I guess Cox realized they have a monopoly on the student population who will need internet no matter what they charge.
It would be bad enough if it was just despicably overpriced to take advantage of students, but the internet doesn't even work. At least every other day I come home from busting my **** in class so I can make something of myself instead of ripping off students like you low-lifes do, and I can't even connect to the internet. It's not even just slow, it just flat out doesn't work half the time. I can't even load a *** article on my phone or connect on my laptop.
I'm honestly getting to the point where simply out of principle I'd rather struggle as a student with no internet than give you scum bags a single *** cent for this joke of a service. I don't know how you low-lifes sleep at night, I plan to do anything and everything in my power to lose you disgusting pathetic excuses for human beings business. I help incoming students adjust and get situated and I will tell every single one to avoid your service like the plague. I will use any social media presence I have to blast your sub-par service and clear disregard for the needs of your customers.
In conclusion, you people disgust me. If you're going to take advantage of students who need internet and gouge the prices, at least provide somewhat functional internet. I spend more time trying to get it to work than anything else. I'm not even trying to play games out here, I literally just want to be able to connect to the *** internet and load webpages. On my Legal Research final exam, everything took me twice as long because basic internet pages couldn't load. If I did poorly on the exam I 100% intend to write another strongly worded letter about your subpar service *** my grade.
Your sales representatives are liars, you are price gougers, and just overall pathetic excuses for customer service and even human beings. I genuinely hope from the bottom of my heart that you go out of business in epic fashion, and will do everything in my power to help contribute to your downfall. I don't think I've ever even seen or heard a positive review about Cox, nothing but complaints, yet there's no alternative so you pathetic excuses for human beings continue to be in business, but not for long. Eventually the public will realize what an absolute joke your company is, and you will pay for disregarding and taking advantage of your customers.
