Email issues here as well... Orange County, CA. I can send at this point, but cannot rcv. Email issues look to be quite prevalent of late with Cox. Time seems to resolve. Nothing like paying cox for down time while they fix.

I am having exactly the same problem. Just talked to cox support agent who confirmed system down.

Same thing happens here. I have not received an email to my Cox account in the last 3 hours, despite knowing that there should be some arriving. Additionally, those missing emails are not bouncing over to my gmail account, as they should.
Outgoing emails from Cox are okay, but nothing arrives at the Cox address.
If it makes any difference, my cox service is based in Meriden CT.

also oc, ca
was fine this a.m. but now cannot get email via web mail from ANY machine or download thru my mail client. interestingly enough, the 2 sub accounts work just fine?? wtf? it's just the main one.
i had a post on the apps forum about not being able to access webmail on my ipad and just fixed that with apple's help last saturday & now i'm on down time again. i've had 4-5 trouble tickets in the last 2 weeks. also interestingly enough, stephanie called early this a.m. & told my husband she had a solution she wanted to walk me thru. i had already posted the solution on my app post...which btw does not show up now?? again, wtf?! anybody else with this problem will never know the solution. how stupid.
i had also called to give the solution to the tech that was working on it. how stephanie got involved after the fact i don't know. and if you've been told the email is down (again, 2 accounts ARE working) there's no point in me calling now.
moderator any one?? eta on a fix??

2 PM PST Update... it appears my email client can now connect to POP and SMTP servers, but as of yet, I have not rcvd any backlogged emails that I know have been sent. Let's hope the emails sent during the down time have not been lost to the digital ether.

When you call the reps they will attempt to talk you into re-installing this and that, re-configuring that and this, etc., looking to assess blame on something that changed or went wrong on your system - when in fact, just waiting until they get their **** together eventually resolves the issue. We can only smile and pay for our service during the down time. JOY.

Makes no sense how they are coming in, as one sent at 3 pm came in before one sent at 11 am this morning, so not chronological. I still have outstanding emails I know were sent that have still not been rcvd. I will give it a day or two to see if they come in, would advise same. Good luck. Fun being a cox customer, no?

- Karen_RFormer ModeratorHello All,
We were having Cox webmail on the 15th that caused various issues that you all have discussed in this forum thread. The outage was cleared late on that day. If you're still having issues please let us know. Thanks
