Huge Disappointment
I'm here to complain about the fact that I had a midterm for an online class today and during the exam my internet lost connection. The loss of the internet resulted in me getting a 0 on the exam that is worth FORTY PERCENT of my overall grade. I was on the phone for over an hour talking to 3 different people and my answer was "we can send a tech out" just like every other time I have called an complained. Not only does my internet lose connection but my remote continuously loses connection to the box and I have to reboot the whole system an reconnect my remote almost 3 times a month. One of the representatives told me "I can give you suggestions out the whazoo but if you don't take any of my suggestions there is nothing I can do for you", which irritated me to the extreme. I am beyond tired of paying $150 a month just for my equipment t have "technical difficulties". AT&T/Directv is $89.99 a month with no equipment fees and I would get the exact same thing that I am getting through Cox. Unfortunately, when I signed up for the service, I got a call the day before they came to install and I was told that instead of home phone I could get the home security for the same price.. WRONG. Now I am in a contract that I was unaware of and I am beyond upset with the service and the responses that I have gotten today. I have been told multiple times that "in theory everything should be working", well in theory, my $150 a month should pay for a service that works with representatives that want to help.
