you can't you need contour hardware
- BeckyModeratorHi Gar256,
Welcome to the Cox Forums! Are you trying to use the Contour App on a smart TV, or do you have a Contour receiver connected to a smart TV? We're happy to help!

A Smart TV only means a TV has access to the Internet. Access to the Internet allows you to use applications (media software) on the Smart TV, such as Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, etc.
Contour doesn't use Internet access. Contour is only installed on a cable box. You only need a cable box to watch TV.
If you have a cable box connected via HDMI to a Smart TV, ensure you select the correct HDMI input with the remote to watch the cable box.
- BeckyModeratorWe do offer an app-only product called Contour Flex that utilizes the Contour 2 App for live streaming video content. The app is compatible with Apple iPhones, iPads, and the iPod touch running iOS 9.0 or higher, Android phone or tablets running Android OS 4.1 or higher, and devices running Fire OS 4.0.3 or higher.
PC/MAC users can go to watchtv.cox.com using one of the following browsers: IE11 or higher, Chrome, Firefox, or Safari 5.1 or higher on any device using one of the following operating systems: Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, or Mac OS X 10.7 (or higher).
