How long can I keep my cox email after changing ISP or email forwarding option

I am considering changing my ISP from cox to another service.

How long can I keep my cox email address once I change to another ISP?

Is there a way to have my email forwarded?

    Hi Tony Renna,

    Upon disconnection of your Cox High Speed Internet Service, Cox will delete your email address, mailbox, all email messages, and the associated content from each Cox email address associated with your account. Prior to disconnecting your account, you can update the 'Reply-to' settings of the email account. This gives the option to receive replies to your messages at an address other than your default account.
