How can I get Contour 2?

I just went to the Cox store yesterday and traded my old Cox DVR for a Contour. I am from the Denver area where I had Comcast X1. This Contour end user interface is horrible. How can I get a Contour 2? Does it cost extra? I googled and saw Contour 2 is the Xfinity X1 platform. I would much prefer that user interface, thanks for any input
