HD TV Channels problem

Is Cox having problems with the HD WEAR Channel 1003 and WALA Channel 1010 in Pensacola? Both channels are saying temporarily unavailable on my cable box. They have been out for several days. The SD channels are working fine.  I reset the cable box, and changed the cable from the outlet to the cable box, it did not fix the problem.

  • Hello CraigP,

    There was an outage declared for Channels 1003 and 1010 in the Pensacola area, but was cleared on 5/24/17. Are you seeing the Temporarily Off Air Message on all TVs in the home? If only on one, please share the Model of the receiver.

    I only have one HD cable box, so it is only on that box. It is the Scientific Atlanta Explorer HDC4240

    Hello CraigP,

    We would like to try a different box hit to see if that corrects the issue with the channels. This will have your TV down for about 15 minutes. When would be a good time to do this for you?

    And now I noticed I have also lost Channel 1047 HDENT

    Are you getting the same temporary off unavailable message on channel 1047?

    Feel free to reset or try any other troubleshooting at your earliest convenience.

    It seems like the cable box is done resetting. Still getting the same message on those three channels, 1003, 1010, and 1047. All other HD Channels are working properly.
