There was a bug that prevents changing channels with in favorites, evidently there was an update last night that corrected that problem... it has now created a new one... it will not auto tune to the HD channels. I have verified that it is still turned on. I turned it off and then back on, and it still will not auto tune to HD channel. I pulled up the "about" in settings and it shows a new update dated 10/12/16
I am using the favorites guide view and that issue seems to be corrected with an update the other night, and after that update the HD auto tune doesn't work
Clarification... then I hit "3" then OK it would switch to channel 3 HD and a pop up would say switching to HD per my preferences. Now when I press "3" and OK it only goes to the SD channel. HD auto tune is ON and turning it off and back on has no effect. This started after the update night before last

I am having the same problem -the auto tune to hd in contour 2 is not working, but only on certain channels. Los Angeles channels 4 through 13 are the affected channels. Channel 2 (CBS) is working on auto-tune to HD, but channels 4 (NBC) through 13 are only coming up in standard definition. These are all local Los Angeles channels. Channel 14 (CNN) and up seem to be working fine, although I haven't tried every one above Channel 14. As Rharton stated, this has just been happening since the Oct. 12 update. As an example, if I am watching Channel 14 (CNN-HD) and enter channel 4 (NBC-Los Angeles) it comes up in standard definition, without the usual message that it is switching to HD per your preferences. Then I enter Channel 14 and it comes back in HD with the message switching to HD per your preferences.
