got a letter telling me i should upgrade my phone/modem for free?

from what i understand, i will be given a new phone/modem, the cisco DPQ3212, which does NOT have wifi (and the one with wifi is $9.99/mo)

i have no problems with my internet and phone and i'm not planning on upgrading my internet service any time soon (i'm happy with my 100 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds) so my question is -- should i ignore this free offer from cox or am i missing something and should upgrade?
