We are experiencing the same exact issue. Sending from Google Apps for Business (Gmail) and getting the same warning message back from Cox Email addresses.

I don't know the answer but i will guess that something is triggering a spam-filter.  The email providers keep tightening the filters because of the complaints about spam.  At some point, innocent users get caught.  All of the problems currently involve "forwarding".

Please check back to let us know if the problem gets fixed.  Otherwise, we can warn others to avoid forwarding important emails that involve groups of recipients.

Have been experiencing gmail-to-cox.net email (Outlook) delivery failures since August 19.  Gmail senders receiving failure notifications identical to the one in JDL's August 08/10/16 post. (Strange that it just started in my case?)   Needless to say, this has snarled a GREAT many personal and business communications.  What is UP, Cox?!?!  Please advise.

Yep, looks like gmail has gone the way of Twitter.  Just tried a test sending an email from one of my gmail accounts to:
    - a cox.net account
    - an alumni address which redirects to the same cox.net account
    - another gmail accout.

the Alumni email came thru to my cox.net inbox, the receiving gmail account also came thru.  The copy sent directly to my cox.net account did not make it ... yet.  I've actually sent 3 emails from 2 different gmail addresses to my cox.net address, none of the 3 have been delivered and nothing returned to the sending account yet.  I 2nd Philippa question ... what's going on Cox?????

  • We received an alert regarding Gmail this morning. Our network security team is investigating why cox.net email addresses aren't receiving mail sent from Gmail accounts. We will let you know if we receive further alerts or updates!

Becky, an update, I am getting google email but very slow.  The tests I posted about came in hours later.  It's all of google, yesterday AM I had to do an FDR to my smartphone, I received a confirmation of signon from a new device overnight but the email had a date/time stamp of yesterday 11:04AM.  It wasn't in my inbox when I went to bed at 11PM last night.  Came in sometime between then 8AM this morning;.  Thanks for the update, please keep us informed.

  • You bet, Allen! I appreciate the details you provided.

Having the same issue and became aware of it about a week ago when advised by my brother that several of his emails were bouncing back to his gmail account with the same message as described above. Yesterday, I sent 10 emails from my gmail account to my Cox account and all 10 went through within 1 minute.

Today, about an hour ago, I sent 6 emails from gmail to Cox and thus far have received none of them.

    Please continue working on this.
