GigaBlast speeds are low

When we first got it installed I remember hitting around 800~900 Mbps, but I noticed lately I can't get more then about ~400 no matter what I do. I have been unable to figure out why it has dropped so much. I have tried restarting the router and my computer but it hasn't helped.

    Are you able to try connecting the ONT directly to the PC with an Ethernet cable and see what the speeds look like that way?

    Direct connection. 900+ Mbps

    Seems the router is the problem. Its a NetGear r6300v2 that came with the installation. I had tried to do a firmware update because it said firmware update was available, but it failed due to cox's custom firmware which I didn't know about at the time. Could it have messed up the custom firmware and how can I get it back?

    You could try pushing and holding the reset button on the router for 30 seconds to do a factory reset and see if that helps. If not it may be necessary to swap the router out.

    @ChrisL

    Gave it a try but no change to speed.

    I don't have firmware for that device. If the factory reset doesn't help it'll probably need to be swapped out. -Chris
