Ghost emails

When opening my emails the counter is showing anywhere from 25 to 30 emails that are not there. For instants it will say I have 65 emails when there are only about 30 in my inbox. I delete my trash everyday along with the other emails I do not want. How can I get ride of these ghost emils

    How are you accessing your e-mail?  Webmail or a client?  If a client, which one and what OS?

    It sounds like you might be talking about the unread email counter on the webmail page after you sign in. Note this number is the total of all unread items in all folders. If you sometimes move unread items into folder's you're created for storage those also count towards the unread items count.
