Frequent disconnects

So recently I have been disconnecting a lot. Usually short disconnects, but it's really irritating and problematic for me.

Anyway, the coaxial that comes to my house splits 2 ways, one goes to my modem, the other splits to my TVs.

both sides are 3.5 db loss.

Coax hooks up directly to my modem router combo (motorola SBG6782-AC)

Here are screenshots of my event log and my power levels. Please advise.

I checked the modem status from this end however nothing odd stands out. Can you try testing a wired connection and see if that also experiences problems?

our computers are directly hooked up by Ethernet cables. And that we reset the modem, the connection seems different but still unstable.

The only other issue I'm seeing is the modem seems to now be logging lots of trouble keeping sync with the signal to it. Are there any cable splitters you can try bypassign and seeing if that helps?

I'm having a similar issue.  My computer is plugged directly into the router (Also tried the modem), but I still get short intermittent disconnects

The only thing I see that might be happening is some hints of a signal issue in the modem logs. Are there any cable splitters you can try bypassing and seeing if that helps? -Chris

At this point, there is only 1 splitter that can be eliminated, however that splitter is outside and I can't hook my modem up outside.

The coax arrives at my home from a power pole near my house, maybe about 50 ft of cable to my house, then splits, 1 of those splits goes to my Modem (100ft of cable) and the other split goes to 3 cable TV's (second splitter) It would be nice to test it with no splitters but I don't feel like hooking my modem up to my roof haha.

Do you think an amplifier would help?

You could see if maybe another cable outlet works better. Beyond that it's probably time to see about having a technician come out and troubleshoot further.

My only other observation is that my upstream power levels seems to fluctuate a lot.

'most' of the time its around 40-45 but when it disconnects if I check it, its around 50-52 and then drops back down to the 40's

my guess is that its spiking at some point and then it disconnects at a short time

From what you're describing that would seem to be the case. That is something a technician would be able to troubleshoot further.
