Does the downstream frequency impact service at all? Reason I am asking is because I notice lately the downstream channels are all in the 300mhz to 400mhz ranges instead of the usual 900mhz range. No issues with service just wondered why the change and what it meant? No splitters amplifiers or attenuators just a straight single one outlet line from underground street sidewalk to side of home as direct as you can get. They never say anything about frequency just power snr QAM. Also signal levels look ok?

I noticed upon reboot of unit it connects in the 900mhz range  on the downstream with the power levels closer to 0 but the snr at 35 the Upstream drops within a few minutes on the first channel to 0 and a partial service message is given on the Upstream and it makes a power adjustment to that 300mhz frequency on the downstream from 900mhz. Hopefully it's not an issue. Please let me know thanks. I have seen em in my area a lot lately the techs. Service is fine though.

The location of the carrier or frequency as you're seeing it doesn't directly impact the service. Low and high frequencies each have their pros and cons but so long as each carrier is reaching the intended destination without issue there's no difference.
