Free Internet Speed Upgrade?

According to a recent news article, Cox is uploading the speed of various Internet options by 50% in NWA, zip code 72704. Does my current 50 Mbps connection qualify for this upgrade and if not why not?

There were speed increases a bit over a year ago, but I'd need to see the news article.

For some reason they are interpreting the speed upgrades that started a while back as being implemented now.  Cox upgraded premier to 150 and ultimate to 300 - preferred went to 50.  So if those are the speeds you are getting, you've already been upgraded.

I have had 50 Mbps for a few years. I am hoping for 75 but it doesn't look good.
