FOX NOW - Fox.com video access

I have the Cox Essentials t.v. package plus internet and cannot get access to watch FXX shows at Fox.com or through the FXNOW app. I've exchanged emails with the FXNow support and Cox support with no success. Nobody can tell me why I get the error message that I need to 'upgrade my subscription' when the channel is included in my t.v. lineup.  Does anyone else have this issue?  Any suggestions (besides switching providers)?
