Firmware update for NETGEAR C6300 gateway

I spoke with tech support about getting the latest firmware for my NETGEAR C6300BD gateway.  They said that they sent the update and that it may take up to 45 mins for it to update.  It’s been almost 2 hours now and still nothing.  The firmware I currently have is V2.04.06.  Should I just give Tech Support a call again and ask them to send it again? Any help would be appreciated!

  • Hi Rokamura120, the "latest" firmware available from Netgear may not be the firmware version that we have approved to push out to the modems on our network. You may already have the latest approved firmware for your modem. When firmware updates are approved we push them out automatically.
