exchange DVR

Can I take my old DVR's to the cox store and exchange for the new Contour DVR?

    Yes.  It's the only perk to renting the boxes. However, your monthly bill may increase to subscribe to either the Contour or Contour 2 service.

    Last time I called, about 2 months ago, Cox required professional installation for the new Contour (2).  You can replace your Contour 1 device by exchanging it at the store but Contour 2 requires a truck roll.  Again, this info is a couple of months old, things can change.

    Hi, the new Contour 2 requires a professional install and you must subscribe to a minimum of TV Essential and Preferred Internet. I hope this information helps.
