Ethernet Ports Disabled? Netgear Cable Gateway CG3000D

Have a Netgear Cable Gateway CG3000D, but none of the 4 ethernet ports work. WiFi is working fine. I’ve reset to default settings but still nothing. Are these ports disabled on purpose? How can I enable? The lights for the ports are just amber... tried a Roku, Smart TV... and still none connecting...

Take one Ethernet cable, and connect one end to any of the router’s LAN port, and the other end to the router’s WAN port. 3. Check the LEDs. The LAN LED and WAN LED should both be lit.
