ETA on Sim. Ring?

FIOS just enabled automatic Nomorobo on their system. Just takes a push of a button practically. Cox has been saying they been looking into Sim. Ring for over a year. I recently picked up a Cox phone line at my second property and would like my Cox phone to not ring 10x more then my FIOS phone. What headway has been made? 

PS. Should I make another forum account for that account? That account only has phone on it if it matters. Prefer not to have to change my login name again if possible.

    Teck, now you see why I dropped Cox phone 1 1/2 years ago and never looked back.

    Ok. I think I am going to port the number to Verizon then. No point waiting for Cox when they see sharing upcoming features as proprietary spying instead of advertising. Seems Verizon just knows more about phone systems then Cox . IE Their anom. call block can be set to block all anom. callers, not just those that have their caller ID blocked. Never understood why Anom. Call rejection was called that when it didn't actually reject anom. callers.

    I was just looking for any kind of general ETA (months, years, decades?) or even just a confirmation that it is still being worked on. The last I heard "Cox was considering their phone privacy options" or what ever they said. How long does it take to "consider"? Ether they are planning changing the system to let it work or they are not. I think the truth is the moderators don't know, but they aren't allowed to say they don't know, so they just make up something that sounds good.

    And this is a lie. I know it's a lie, and you know it's a lie, and you know I know it's a lie.. You get emails every day with notifications of possible upcoming changes. Just because you can't share that info doesn't mean you don't get it. Stop saying things which are not true please. It's almost like you guys forgot that I used to do what you do. I will give empathy if you learn to break the 4th wall.
