ESPN and Bundle Options

When I watch sports, I want sports and not political messaging.  The increase in political messaging on ESPN disturbs me greatly. There are plenty of stations that carry political messages, but consumers deserve (since they are paying for them) stations without political messaging.

I am exploring other TV options besides Cox, because you do not offer a way for consumers to tailor their TV bundles other than your basic four tier package.  I do not want to continue to pay for TV stations that insist on telling me what to think.

You should offer a Basic plus 10 package that allows consumers to pick the basic package and add 10 selected stations to it.  I am sure your people could figure out how to price it somewhere between the current 75 basic option and the 140 option.

Not just right wing nuts, but moderates like me with an Asian wife and five African American grandchildren do find offensive political statements inappropriate for family sports channels, that don't talk about diversity but practice it.

  • Hello Mike,

We are re-broadcasters, which only take the content supplied to us from each channels broadcast, and distribute the content to our customers.  We cannot control the content or how it is presented. Any complaint with programming content would need addressed directly with the network provider.  As far as being able to select from an ala-cart menu.  It has been brought many times, and if changes occur that makes this available in the future.  It will be relayed to all customers informing them of this change.

I am exploring purchasing the dozen channels we want that are not available over the air by paying the monthly internet fee for getting their content directly.  But thanks for your suggestion...
