Erratic Internet Service with slow speeds

Been experiencing problems with this Cox Premier Internet using a DN4500B. I connect my MBP wirelessly. The speed test results are 82.76Mbps DL and 17.13Mbps UL. Many times I have to reset either the modem and/or my MBP. My TV is wired and outages are experienced that may last anywhere from a second to a few seconds. Please advise.

    It sounds like you are streaming online content to your Smart TV. Are you using a built-in TV app, or a device like a Firestick or Roku? When the outages occur, do you get an error message?
