I'm trying to enable IPv6 on my wireless router but can only get IPv6 working when directly connected to my modem. I took a look at my modem's settings (SB6141), and it says IPv4 only. I setup the router for IPv6 but don't recieve it from the modem.
IPv4 or IPv6 isn't done at the modem. The modem is just a bridge. The IPv4 in the modem settings refers to the IPv4 10.x.x.x private IP that the modem uses to connect to Cox for diagnostics. Otherwise, why would IPv6 work direct to the modem?
What model router do you have and how do you have the IPv6 settings configured?
