email password problem?

I received a phone call from Beverly Hills Ca 310 409 0622 at 6:07 pm tonight.

Caller claimed to be from Cox Technical Support.  She said that someone was

trying to change my cox email password within the last hour and wanted to know

if I was the person trying to make the change,

Caller had my name, phone number and email address.  Was this a legitimate call from tech

support?  My password seems to be working fine; please dvise.

    Cox does not contact our customers to change account information. I can take a look into this for you. Please send your full name and address plus this forum post to cox.help@cox.com. We will reply back once we receive your email. Thanks
