Email does not download from the Cox web site.

I have spent countless hours reading the forum for an answer and haven't found one yet. I can download my mail in outlook 2007, I can sign on to cox email on my ipad and read my mail in different mail boxes but if I sign in my account in with IE11 and click on the envelope to read email all I get are three dots. So why can't I read email once I am sighed in to Cox but I can get it in other ways?

    Hi Tomzee, if you use a different browser are you able to access your emails from your PC?

    Hi Mike J. just tried Chrome and sure enough it will download the mail! So where does this take us?

    Do you see an error when trying to access webmail in IE11? Please ensure Java updates are installed.

    Double checked Java, most current version. No error messages. Still just getting 3 dots and the tab goes to Xcox.

    I'm using I.E. 11 on a Windows 10 laptop. After I sign into my Cox account and click on the email icon, I see 3 dots indicating that the page is loading. After a few seconds, my Inbox loads.

    It sounds like you are only getting as far as the 3 dots. You mentioned that you can get into your Cox email using your iPad. Are you using I.E.11 on a computer or mobile device? What operating system is this device running? Disable any add-ons and extensions within your I.E.11 browser. Turn off the pop-up blocker. Reset Internet Explorer's settings to default.

    If you are still unable to access Cox Webmail within Internet Explorer, Chrome may be your best option.
