Easier way to favorite channels?

I'll be favoriting a selective amount of channels that my girlfriend and I watch, but was wondering if there's an easier way of doing it besides the way below?  Can we place checkmarks on the channels I want and then favorite them all at once?

The only way I know is go to guide and select the channel with OK button and then favoriting.
