e mails inbox
One of our e mail accounts had the inbox content disappear, these were visible until about 9 pm this evening but now are not visible nor in the trash box with the other e mails previously deleted

From this end one of your emails account shows regular POP activity. Do you have an email client such as Outlook for example setup somewhere? You may wish to look there and see if that's where your emails went as how POP deletes the inbox contents from the server by default.
