How do I delete over 5,000 e-mails without having to do a page at a time?

  • Hi Mbe,

Are the emails you want to delete in your Inbox? If so, you can put a check mark in the "Select All" box at the top of the page and then click the Delete icon.

Which deletes one page (ten emails).  If I understand the post correctly, mbe is looking for an option that deletes all messages in a given folder with one procedure and not just a single page of them.

If you're still on Classic Webmail you can do this in the Manager Folders section. There's a little icon to the right of each folder that if clicked will delete all messages in said folder. If you're already migrated to the new Appsuite the option will be listed by clicking the hamburger icon to the right of each folder listing.

  • I'll check that out.... thanks for the tip.

Will my folders and  mail filtering rules survive the transition?  It has worked wonderfully in preventing SPAM from getting to my inbox.

If you have no answer ready then kindly say so.  I put a lot of work; trial and error, etc. in compiling my folder list and rule formulations with this and do not look forward to having to start from scratch.

Curious still... will my message filtering rules and online directory structure be preserved through this process?

  • Hi Stinkfoot63,

Inbox rules and filters used to sort incoming email into folders will be transferred from the legacy email system to the new platform.
