If your cable box is replaced with a new box, can your 'saved' TV shows be copied over to the new box?

- We are unable to copy the saved shows from one box to another. If you have one of the latest contour boxes and the box being replaced is a client box and not the host, then the recordings would still be there as they are stored on the host box.

Cox Support Forum Moderator Please note that many of your saved shows probably can be viewed "on demand", so you can catch up. Cox did add that when you get a new DVR box your favorite channels are saved, but your scheduled recordings are not, so you have to set them up all over again, but with the voice control on Contour 2, that isn't as painful as it used to be. Still a pain, but not as bad...
