Dual band router
Trying to connect a dual band router but not getting internet connect on router.
i have a net gear h-450 modem/router from cox and trying to connect a d-link dir-810L

The N-450 already has an integrated router in it so you will not be able to use your own router without having problems. If you prefer to use your own router you'll want to return the N-450 and purchase a stand-alone cable modem.
In addition to what ChrisL posted, the DIR-810l only has 100Mbps Ethernet ports. It's not capable of any tier faster than Preferred.
