Does anyone agree that Cox is the WORST cable TV provider in the world

Here is what I have learned about Cox after 33 years of using their service, it "**". Now the latest event, all the channels do not appear, I get a message for each channel "temporary out of service notice" when in fact it really is NOT, but I do have to power off box then turn back on for each channel I wish to view. Here is a interesting point, I am not the only one experiencing this issue. Hmmm, wonder what Cox is up to? I called their service number, what's the first thing they want me to do, switch to their Contour box for an additional $19 per month, do you think this is a premeditated plan on the part of Cox to additionally screw with their customer, I do. I am contacting the Federal Trade Commission to bring this to their attention along with the names of all the other customers who are having the same experience.

you really expect a cable box to last 33 years?   Have you tried a different box?

I have to disagree... if you want the worst ...move to an area that is services by "Comcast/Xfinity"..... where it can take two weeks for a service outage to be repaired!

    HI,

I'm short of your 33 years with only 27.  My experience has been much different than yours.

I have phone / internet / TV with Cox almost from the beginning.  I can count on one hand the amount of times we've had issues with any of the services.  One of my TV's has a mini box which brings in the channels but cannot record.   I've never had an issue with it and it's only $2 a month.  We are in the NorthEast.

My friends tell me tales of issue after issue with their non-Cox services making me happy I have Cox.

I don't work for Cox nor have any connection to their company (except being a subscriber).  I'm only in this forum because we just updated to Contour 2 and I'm looking to learn all I can about the service.
